Ate Procy is our only member who is not married or engaged to a foreigner. She is my sister in Christ and a fellow dgroup member. Somehow we just “click” and when she accompanied me in one of our ELCI activities, she just “click” also with all the ladies. Her laughter is contagious and later on I realized she is always been with us and all of us simply wanted her to be around. Thus, she always give us time amidst her busy life in the Church and in the kitchen of Abba’s Orchard Montessori School.
Her husband is in the hospital right now. She rushed him to the hospital last Saturday night.because he just collopsed without any previous signs of being sick.. He has internal bleeding and is now undergoing blood tranfusion in CDO Medical Center.. This afternoon, I witnessed how she sruggled financially because when she was about to get the two bags of blood, the RED CROSS staff reminded her for the payment of the previous blood processing fee.
Now, girls, it is about time that we will give a smile to Ate Procy’s face by helping her financially. We will have a 100 pesos contribution. This is not much but I am
sure it will make her burden a lot lighter.. “In fairness” as we fondly called her, is always been our laughter ever since she joins us aside from her prayers. She is our “Spiritual Adviser” and at this time I pray that she will also consider us her blessings.
I also pray that other people’s heart will be touched.
