WELCOME to Expat’s Ladies Charities blog….
My name is Daisy Jaramillo Cline and I am a Filipino married to an American expat and currently living in Cagayan De Oro , Philippines . This blog will be about our efforts of a charitable nature here in our local community through the Expats’ Ladies Charities, Inc.which we founded last year together with my very dear friends Cherry Ann Chaves Edwards, Marites Reber and Jalah Schaffner. Sadly, Marites and Jalah did not live long enough to witness what we have been doing today! Rest assured that they will always be part of our history. There is also someone, who always have been with me on the planning stage but for her own personal reasons, she chose to be inactive today. To you my friend, you will always be a part of ELCI.
For this year, with Jeaneth Pflugh and all officers, Jane Brigitte, Epril Wrinkle, Laila MacCrea, Juliet James, Marissa Turner, Mary Jane Macdonalds, Biema Montgomery and Evelyn Benigno we go forward!
Most of us are also members of other organizations too but ELCI is unique and special in a sense that here, we could make our husbands involved with all of our projects…this is for them! They knew we became who we are because of the love they give us and we cherish them!
Along the way I hope to share with you some commentary and photos about the different kinds of charitable events we participate in as well as how those efforts effect the lives of those less fortunate in our culture .
Today, with the very active supports of our husbands and SO’s, the Expatriates in the Philippines, we are slowly engraving to the hearts of the upcoming generations a new FACE of a Filipina married to a foreigner! That is A WOMAN COMMITTED TO SERVING THE LORD, HER HUSBAND AND HER COMMUNITY!
God Bless and to God be the GLORY!

Ive known Daisy for a couple of years now and she has done a lot when things came to emergencies for expats. Not including the sponsership programs and everything else she gets up.. Keep up the great work!!
